Animal Type
Using Adobe illustrator I created a design that would solely use the word and letters of ostrich to make up the image of an ostrich. The objective was to become more familiar with word type and how it can be adjusted. I had to ask myself: what letters will represent was aspects of an ostrich? How can I distort the word to make them fit the shape? And so on.

Word Play
The objective of this project was to create 4 separate designs that revolve around the text. How words can be represented by image. We specifically focused on typography and how it can be changed and adjusted to have a specific emotion or feel. I wanted each design to be unique to itself and assured it clearly represented the image.
